«Portraitsaal», Lucerne Town Hall
The magnificent portrait hall in the town hall is located in the middle of the picturesque old town of Lucerne and is one of the most popular wedding venues in the region. With its festive ambience, the hall attracts wedding couples from all over the world and also offers enough space for larger guest groups of up to 50 people. The portrait room is available for weddings on Fridays, and an additional fee of CHF 270 applies.
Meggenhorn Castle, Meggen
The stately Meggenhorn Castle is located on a headland above the Lucerne lake basin. It is surrounded by a beautiful park and offers a wonderful view of the mountain panorama. The dreamlike backdrop attracts many wedding couples. There are no civil weddings in the castle chapel, but the charming oak room offers space for a group of max. 20 people. The weddings take place every last Thursday of the month, in the afternoon. From April to October, every second Thursday afternoon is also offered for the wedding ceremony. An additional fee of CHF 160 applies; in addition, a room rental of CHF 250 will be charged separately by the municipality of Meggen.
«Gütschwald» town house in Lucerne
The official wedding venue is located at the headquarters of the regional registry office in Lucerne at Obergrundstrasse 1 and is available to the bride and groom free of charge. The charming room, with its special character and familiar atmosphere, offers space for 10 to 15 people. Weddings at this official venue take place from Tuesday to Thursday.
